MK FINTEL WIND TO OPEN THE FIRST WIND FARM IN SERBIA
The company MK Fintel Wind will open a 9.9 megawatt (MW) wind farm tomorrow in the vicinity of Kula. It is considered to be the first green power plant in Serbia.
The construction of the wind farm near Kula started in February 2015 by the companies MK Fintel Wind, a joint company of the Italian company Fintel Energia and a public company present on the Italian stock exchange together with Serbian MK Group.
According to the data from MK Group (mkgroup.rs), the plant consisted of three Vestas 178 m high wind turbines will produce 27 million kilowatt hours of green engergy, which is sufficient for the needs of nearly 8.000 households.
