The biggest investment in renewable sources in Serbia
With a help of the company MK Fintel Wind, the construction of the third wind farm Košavahas begun. It is also considered to be the largest investment so far in the field of renewable energy sources in Serbia.
In the wind farm in Izbište near Vršac, € 124 million will be invested in the first phase andwe plan to complete the first construction works by the end of 2018, where we would build 20 windmills with a total power of 69 megawatts and supply electricity for 40,000 households.
Executive Director of Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind Tiziano Giovannetti said that this is the biggest investment so far in renewable energy sources in Serbia and the continuation of the investment is already beenplanned.
"We will hire local firms and domestic workers, whose expertise and experience, hopefully, will help in completing the works within the deadline" said Giovannetti. He added that the second phase of works is already planned and it envisages the construction of an additional 19 turbines worth more than 100 million eur.
